Quality Inspector

We are seeking a meticulous Quality Inspector to joina well know precision engineering company in the Portsmouth area who specialise in themotorsport sector. The ideal candidate will be responsible for utilizing their expertise in CMM inspection, as well as setting, operating, and programming Mitutoyo equipment, to ensure the highest quality standards are met.

Responsibilities for Quality Inspector
  • Conduct thorough inspections of parts and components using CMM equipment.
  • Set up and operate Mitutoyo machinery to perform precise measurements and checks.
  • Program Mitutoyo machines to conduct automated inspection processes.
  • Document and report any discrepancies or non-conformities to the quality control team.
  • Collaborate with production and engineering teams to address quality issues and implement improvements.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience as a Quality Inspector, preferably within the motorsport industry.
  • Proficiency in operating and programming Mitutoyo equipment.
  • Strong understanding of CMM inspection processes and techniques.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high quality standards.

Day-to-day
