The NPI Program Manager will provide project management for DART Aerospace product development programs. Program management is the process of managing several related Programs with the intention of delivering to the market new products and improving the organization's performance. This individual will have oversight of the purpose and status of all assigned projects. He/She will use this oversight to drive Program-level activity to ensure the overall program goals are likely to be met by providing a decision-making capacity and acting as a sounding board for ideas and approaches to solving program issues that have program impacts. The position will be located on-site at F.P.T. Industries Ltd Portsmouth, UK. He/She will adhere to the company's Mission, Vision, and Values.
Key Responsibilities of the Role:
Responsible for project management of assigned product development and other projects
Responsible to deliver each project on schedule, cost, scope and quality defined in the original business case and project plan
Manage project team towards completion of project deliverables
Provide visibility and manage communications with regards to his project status
Manage project risk
Participate in development of project plan and cost estimates for new bids
Report to the VP of Engineering/PMO, directly interacting with the Engineering, Operations and Supply Chain personnel and Vice President/General Manager

Experience as a Airframe Mechanic
Experience & Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Engineering or General Management or 3+ years experience in progressively challenging aerospace leadership assignments.
Aerospace industry experience a plus
Organized/Detail Orientated
Committed to keeping team to deadlines
The ability to clearly communicate to management and maintain accurate records and reports
Advanced MS Program knowledge
Prior Program experience, preferably a year
Knowledge/Experience working with EVM

Product testing as needed.
** Work Environment: While performing duties of this job, the employee is required to split time in an office and warehouse/manufacturing environment where the noise level is usually moderate to loud. The warehouse environment contains various climate conditions and chemicals including MEK & other Adhesives.
** Communication Skills: While performing Duties of the job, the employee is required to read and comprehend instructions, correspondence and memos. The employee requires the ability to write effective and detailed correspondence and to effectively present information both in one-on-one and small group situations
** Mental Demands: While performing duties of this job, the employee is required to deal with stress associated with a fastpaced work environment and multiple priorities/tasks. The employee will be required to make judgment decisions and adapt to changing work situations, grasp and apply new ideas, communicate with various personalities at all levels and have the ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed instructions.
