Our client, a leading technology company, is seeking a skilled Project Manager to join their dynamic team based in Portsmouth. You will play a pivotal role in delivering complex, high-value projects within the defence sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the delivery of full lifecycle projects, from initiation to closure
- Contribute to the development and execution of comprehensive project plans, timelines, and budgets
- Assist in identifying, assessing, and mitigating project risks and issues
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project objectives are met
- Support the management of project scope, schedule, and resources
- Contribute to fostering strong relationships with stakeholders, including clients, team members, and senior management
- Support the monitoring of project progress, reporting on key metrics, and providing regular updates
- Contribute to implementing best practices in project management methodologies and tools
Essential Skills and Experience:
- Experience in project management, ideally within the defence sector
- Current, valid SC clearance is essential
- Understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
