We have an exciting opportunity for a Finance Team Leader to join Carrington West on a 12-18 month FTC  for maternity cover! 

As the Finance Team leader, you will be responsible for managing the Financial Accounts & Payroll team. Processing and finalising management accounts for month end, prepping the company contractor payroll, assisting team members and the wider business with their queries and dealing with queries that arise from payroll.

As a Finance Team Leader, you will be responsible for:

  • Managing an effective and motivated Financial Accounts & Payroll team, ensuring they receive all support, guidance and training they require to achieve both individual and team targets and objectives.
  • Ensuring management accounts are submitted accurately within the deadline.
  • Ensuring weekly payroll is completed timely and accurately.
  • Developing and maintaining strong and effective working relationships across all areas of the business to build professional standing.
  • Holding regular 1-1's with the payroll team 
  • Reviewing balance sheet reconciliations 
  • Month-end reporting 
  • Reviewing timesheets for errors and omissions
  • Outsourcing PAYE processing
  • Reporting to HMRC

Qualifications required to be successful as a Finance Team Leader: 
 

  • ACA/ACCA/CIMA part-qualified 

 
Skills required to be successful as a Finance Team Leader: 
 

  • Staff management experience 
  • Extensive Management Accounts experience


Desirable skills: 

  • Experience in payroll processing 
  • Experience with invoice discounting facilities
  • Experience working in a recruitment firm
