CMA Recruitment Group are currently supporting a leading financial services company to recruit an HR Business Partner on a permanent basis based in Portsmouth. As they continue to grow, we are looking for a skilled and proactive HR Business Partner to join our team and help drive our people agenda forward.What will the HR Business Partner role involve?

As an HR Business Partner, you will play a critical role in supporting the company's strategic goals by aligning HR initiatives with business objectives. You will act as a trusted advisor to senior management and collaborate with stakeholders across the business to deliver comprehensive HR services, including employee relations, talent management, organisational development, and change management.Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with senior leaders to understand business objectives and develop HR strategies that support company goals.
  • Provide expert advice and support on a range of HR matters including employee relations, performance management, and organisational development.
  • Lead talent management initiatives such as succession planning, career development, and employee engagement.
  • Support the development and implementation of HR policies and practices that ensure compliance with employment laws and promote a positive workplace culture.
  • Manage change management programs to ensure smooth transitions during business restructuring or transformation.
  • Collaborate with recruitment teams to support workforce planning and ensure the business attracts and retains top talent.

Suitable Candidate for the HR Business Partner vacancy:

  • Proven experience as an HR Business Partner, ideally within the financial services industry.
  • Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practices.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • A proactive, solution-focused mindset with the ability to work autonomously and manage multiple projects.
  • CIPD qualification (or working towards) is preferred but not essential.
