Description
The finance assistant role has the following key responsibilities:
- Financial Processing: Perform daily and weekly reconciliation of accounts, ensuring all transactions are accurate and up-to-date.
- Invoice Management: Process, scan, and code invoices, maintaining organised and accurate financial records.
- Transaction Support: Handle group and franchise trading statements, ensuring timely and efficient processing.
- Query Resolution: Monitor shared finance inboxes, addressing queries from internal and external stakeholders and resolving supplier issues promptly.
- Document Distribution: Manage the distribution of financial documents, such as cheque books, gift vouchers/cards, and other essential paperwork.
- Ad-Hoc Support: Assist the finance team with additional tasks and projects as needed to ensure smooth operations.
- Compliance and Accuracy: Ensure all financial processes adhere to company policies and regulatory requirements while maintaining high accuracy levels
