- Maintain subcontractor records and ensure compliance with HMRC CIS regulations
- Process invoices, applications, and reconcile statements
- Handle subcontractor payments, retention monitoring, and valuations
- Liaise with subcontractors and contract managers to resolve queries
- Provide cover for purchase ledger and procurement tasks when needed
- Assist with general administration and support team activities
- Previous experience in a similar role, such as Subcontractor Ledger Clerk / Purchase Ledger Clerk / Ledger Clerk / Purchase Ledger Administrator / Accounts Assistant / Finance Assistant
- Confidence with finance processes, willingness to push procedures and authorisations effectively
- CIS knowledge, including understanding VAT rules
- Experience in the construction sector is advantageous
- Confidence in IT and finance systems, ideally with Sage 50
