We are looking for an enthusiastic and adaptable Cover Supervisor to provide general cover for a secondary school we work with in Portsmouth. These roles are for long-term placements, typically lasting a minimum of one term, with opportunities to extend further based on school needs. This role will commence after Easter.
About the Role:- Providing general cover across a variety of subjects in secondary schools.
- Delivering pre-planned lessons and ensuring a positive learning environment.
- Managing classroom behaviour and maintaining school policies.
- Supporting students' learning and progress during staff absences.
- Building strong relationships with schools and students.
- Previous experience teaching in a secondary school setting is desirable.
- Strong classroom management skills and the ability to adapt to different environments.
- Flexibility, reliability, and a positive approach to teaching.
- A passion for education and helping students achieve their full potential.
- Right to work in the UK is essential.
