Quantum Scholars are working alongside a mixed comprehensive secondary school based in Portsmouth who are looking for a passionate and dedicated Maths Teacher. This will be a full time, permanent position starting in September 2025! The ideal candidate must be currently teaching in the UK, have a significant amount of UK teaching experience and be able to teach Maths to secondary school level(11-16 years old). This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual eager to inspire and motivate students in their mathematical journey.

The school hiring are rated as a "Good" school from Ofsted. It is located in Portsmouth, Hampshire. They are based in a very commutable area with great access to public transport links. Key Responsibilities:

  • Lesson Planning and Delivery: Design and implement engaging and effective lessons that cater to a variety of learning styles and abilities, ensuring alignment with the national curriculum.
  • Assessment and Feedback: Regularly assess student progress through assignments, tests, and observations, providing timely and constructive feedback to support their development.

Requirements:

  • Qualifications: Must be a qualified teacher.
