Your new roleWe are seeking a dedicated and passionate Maths Teacher to join the school community. As a Maths Teacher, you will play a crucial role in shaping students' understanding of mathematical concepts, fostering their curiosity, and helping them achieve academic success. This position is available for a September start and will continue on an ongoing basis with the possibility of being extended into a new term. Responsibilities:

• Curriculum Planning:Develop engaging and well-structured lesson plans aligned with the National Curriculum. Ensure that lessons cater to the needs of students aged 11 to 16.
• Effective Teaching:Deliver high-quality instruction, making complex mathematical concepts accessible to students. Use a variety of teaching methods to engage learners.
• Assessment and Feedback:Administer quizzes, tests, and assignments. Provide timely and constructive feedback to students, supporting their progress.
• Classroom Management:Create a positive and safe learning environment. Manage student behaviour effectively.
• Differentiation:Adapt teaching strategies to meet the diverse learning needs of students. Differentiate instruction as necessary.
• Collaboration:Work closely with colleagues to develop interdisciplinary projects and activities. Collaborate on curriculum development.
• Monitoring Progress:Track student progress, identify areas for improvement, and implement interventions as needed.
• Parent Communication:Maintain open communication with parents or guardians regarding student performance and progress.
• Professional Development:Stay informed about educational trends, attend workshops, and engage in continuous professional growth.

Qualifications:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Relevant degree in Mathematics or related field.
• Passion for teaching and inspiring young minds.
• Strong subject knowledge and pedagogical skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Commitment to student welfare and holistic development.
