Pay: £30,000.00 to £50,000.00 (Early Career teachers and experienced teachers welcome to apply)

Are you a kind and passionate teacher with the ability to inspire students to excel in Maths? GSL Education are currently supporting a local secondary school in Portsmouth, Hampshire to appoint a Maths Teacher for their Key Stage3&4 students.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality maths lessons aligned with the school's curriculum standards, ensuring that students are well-prepared for assessments and future academic challenges.
• Implement differentiated teaching strategies to cater to diverse learning styles and abilities within the classroom, ensuring that each student has the opportunity to thrive.
• Utilise innovative and interactive teaching methods, incorporating technology and real-world applications to make math relevant and engaging for students.
• Regularly assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their academic growth. Collaborate with colleagues to analyse assessment data and refine teaching practices.
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes a love for learning and respectful behaviour among students.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field; a Master’s degree is a plus.
• Teaching certification in Mathematics.
• PGCE/QTS/QTLS
• Previous experience of teaching mathematics at the secondary level is preferred, not mandatory.
• Familiarity with and commitment to the principles of the school’s curriculum.
