Role Overview:
As a Maths Teacher, you will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging and challenging lessons that help students build a strong foundation in mathematics. You will foster a positive learning environment where all students feel encouraged and supported. Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver high-quality, differentiated lessons in line with the curriculum

Monitor and assess student progress, providing regular feedback to support their development

Create a positive, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment

Work with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching strategies

Maintain effective classroom management and promote a positive learning atmosphere

Provide extra support for students who may require additional help, including those with special educational needs (SEN)

Foster positive relationships with students, staff, and parents

Participate in school events, meetings, and professional development opportunities
Key Requirements:

Qualified teacher status (QTS) and a degree in Mathematics or a related field

Previous teaching experience (desirable, but not essential for NQTs)

A passion for teaching and inspiring students to achieve their best

Strong subject knowledge and the ability to teach at Key Stage 3 and 4

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
