A Science Teacher is needed in a Mixed Comprehensive Secondary School a school that has high expectations for all who attend. This school provide students with the highest level of challenge and have the highest expectations of behaviour. The schools vision is that students grow to be confident, articulate and resilient young people, assured in their strength of courage, value of justice and necessity of respect.
This Science Teacher post will be full time and long term, with scope to go permanent.
Teaching for this Science Teacher role will be for KS3 to KS4 classes.
The rates of pay for this Science Teacher position will range from 160 to 300 a day, depending on every applicants qualifications and experience.
The School
A 11 - 18 Comprehensive School which has just under 900 pupils.
The school offers a broad curriculum and a wide choice of options in key stage 4. The well-planned personal, social and health education (PSHE) programme encourages their personal development. Religious education supports their knowledge of Christian values.
There is an extensive range of extra-curricular and enrichment activities. The school are proud of the opportunities to compete in sporting competitions. They enjoy visits to the outdoor learning area, taking part in school productions and attending the many clubs on offer.
Requirements
You are encouraged to apply if you are a recently qualified Science Teacher or experienced Science Teacher.
Applications are also welcome if you are a British trained Science Teacher or overseas trained Science Teacher.
All applicants must have the following criteria in order to be considered for this position as a Science Teacher:
- Right to work in the UK
- UK QTS or overseas equivalent
- Clear and updated Enhanced DBS
- Experience as a Science Teacher in UK schools
