Job Description: Prospero Teaching is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated English Teacher to join a school in Portsmouth. You will be part of an experienced team in a supportive environment where children are respected, listened to, and involved in decision-making processes.

Responsibilities:

  • Teach the UK curriculum with a focus on Key Stage 3 & 4.
  • Provide bespoke therapeutic educational frameworks tailored to each child.
  • Follow a flexible structure to support children and young people.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Minimum 1 year of teaching experience in the UK.
  • Up-to-date Safeguarding training issued in the last year.
  • Right to Work in the UK.
  • Enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or willingness to process a new application.
  • Two professional child-related references.
