Are you a Third Engineer looking for a hands-on role onboard a traditional 317kw diesel engine motor vessel working with a tight-knit crew specializing in carrying passengers and cargo and offering fast progression to Second Engineer?

This well-established company conduct day-trips aboard a traditional 1958 vessel from Bideford and Ilfracombe. They have continually grown since their establishment in 1969 and are looking to grow their friendly engineering team.

This varied role will see you planning and scheduling maintenance, completing maintenance and report to vessel electrical faults, cargo handling and assisting other members of the crew when required. You will initially receive training and then work within the tight-knit team of 13 employees working predominantly on-board the ship. The role requires travel to Bideford and Ilfracombe ports, a staff minibus is included when applicable.

This exciting role would suit a Third Engineer (minimum) who is happy doing on-board maintenance, cargo handling and occasional repairs looking for a varied role offering a good work life balance and ongoing progression.
