1:1 Support Assistant / Key Worker - SEMH School in Portsmouth - ASAP startAcademics are currently looking for a 1:1 Support Assistant / Key Worker who is able to commit to a full-time, term-time contract, starting after Easter. This is an ongoing, possible temp to perm role.You will be joining an SEMH School in Portsmouth which caters for vulnerable students with complex social, emotional and mental health needs, and other associated needs.

As a 1:1 Assistant / Key Worker you will be required to work on an outreach basis where you will be required to travel to students homes, work with them on a 1:1 basis and help transition them back into school/collect and bring them into school. Due to this, you must drive and be happy to use your own vehicle. Travel expenses will be paid. Due to the nature of the environment and needs of the pupils, this position is suited to someone who has worked with pupils with challenging behaviour, mental health needs or special educational needs in the past, or someone who is looking to work in a unique setting. You mus be confident working on a 1:1 basis in students homes, in the community and in school.If you are an experienced 1:1 Support Assistant / Key Worker who drives and live in Portsmouth, please apply!
