The Role:
As a Learning Support Assistant, you will:
- Provide 1:1 and small group support to students, helping them overcome learning barriers.
- Assist in delivering tailored interventions under the guidance of the class teacher and SENCO.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Promote students’ social and emotional well-being through nurturing support.
- Contribute to the school’s commitment to student progress and success.
The Ideal Candidate:
We are looking for someone who:
- Has experience working with children or young people in an educational setting.
- Demonstrates empathy, patience, and a passion for supporting student development.
- Can effectively collaborate with teachers and other support staff.
- Holds a relevant qualification (e.g., Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant qualification) – desirable but not essential.
- Is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
