In this role, you will act as a coach and mentor, offering tailored support that stretches students to achieve their very best. You'll help set meaningful goals, track progress, and manage student wellbeing. You'll also play a crucial role in guiding students through their next steps, whether that's higher education, apprenticeships, or employment.
Key responsibilities include:
- Setting motivational targets and completing student progress reviews.
- Monitoring student attendance, academic performance, and personal development.
- Supporting students with their post-college preparations and promoting engagement in extracurricular activities.
- Collaborating with the wider Pastoral Tutor team and the Pastoral Leader to ensure every student thrives.
About You:
- Experience delivering youth activities and supporting youth leadership and volunteering.
- Familiarity with youth voice programmes.
- Positive, adaptable, and highly organised with great time management skills.
- Eligibility to work in the UK, with an Enhanced DBS on the update service.
- A Level 3 Award in Education and Training or willingness to undertake
- Experience of working in the post 16 educational sector
- Experience of delivering sessions in an education or training setting
