Join the IT team at an exciting time as our client embarks on a digital transformation journey. This role offers the opportunity to be at the forefront of technology and business change, from large transformation programmes to quick-fire innovations.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Work in an agile environment to design, build, deliver, test, and support systems using the latest techniques and technologies.
  • Gain technical knowledge of the company’s existing and new products and project developments.
  • Take responsibility for ensuring work packages are completed on schedule and within budget.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional project teams, serving as a subject matter expert for IT.
  • Assist with the setup and design of tracking and managing changes to software code, including CI/CD pipeline.
  • Proactively keep products updated with evolving technologies.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in design, development, test, integration of quality software, and maintaining thorough documentation.
  • Proficiency with C#, .NET framework, Visual Studio, Python, Git, and other development tools.
  • Experience in designing and implementing integration solutions using Microsoft Azure, including Azure Functions and familiarity with DevOps pipelines.
  • Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, JSON, XML, SOAP, and other web services protocols.
  • Knowledge of Git or similar version control tools.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills to overcome technical challenges.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to engage effectively with the team, stakeholders, and product owners.

Desirable: * A bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field. * ERP (IFS) and GIS (ESRI) integration experience. * Working knowledge of SQL and Oracle databases.
