We have an opportunity for a Field Application Engineer to join us at Honeywell, in Portsmouth, where your primary responsibility will be to support sales in meet/exceed Regional Revenue and New Business Opportunity (NBO) Wins plan in assigned territory and through teaming with channel partners at designated accounts.

This is a hybrid role, 3 days at the office + 2 days work from home model with around 50% travel within Europe.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical and product application support directly with customers and to the Authorized Distributors, Account Developer Managers and Strategic Account Managers.
  • Help drive opportunity creation, new business wins, and overall sales growth in the assigned territory. This includes supporting the new product introduction (NPI) process, marketing campaigns, sales programs, and other initiatives through teaming with local ADs, ADMs, and SAMs (Sales Teams).
  • Support sales to drive effective NBO generation activities through teaming with the Sales Teams on lead qualification, identifying competitive activity, and uncovering customer needs, which results in capturing new business revenue in the FAE’s defined region.
  • Provide technical expertise and support for all Gas Sensing requirements and design-in opportunities at new and existing accounts.

Key Skills and Qualifications

  • Strong technical competence or experience in Gas product application or design.
  • Basic understanding of marketing and selling concepts and strategies.
  • Great written/verbal communication skills in English. Additional language(s) is preferred.
  • Ability and experience in successfully supporting business opportunities/projects through cross-functional teams (supporting development, execution, managing schedules, and driving internal communication).
  • Six Sigma Black Belt would be advantage
