Sonic Summary

VIQU is seeking a PHP Developer for a fully remote, 6-month contract role with a global Retail & E-Commerce organization.
The successful candidate will focus on server-side and API development, performing a mix of business-as-usual tasks and project work.
Key skills required include PHP development, server and API development, and database experience with MySQL or Oracle, with Agile experience being essential.
The role offers a daily rate between £300 and £385, depending on experience, and is classified as inside IR35.
While the position is open to more junior candidates, relevant experience is necessary for consideration.

PHP Developer – Inside IR35 – Fully Remote

VIQU have partnered with a global Retail & E-Commerce organisation who are seeking a PHP Developer to support with the development and maintenance of the E-Commerce platform on backend.

The role:

The successful PHP Developer will be focus on Server-side / API development. This will be a mixture of BAU and some project work, as well as troubleshooting and bug fixes.

This will involve code reviews, documentation and troubleshooting / support in addition to writing code.

Key skills and experience for the PHP Developer:

Experience with PHP development
Server and API Development
Database experience: MySQL, Oracle
Experience working within an Agile framework

Desirable skills:

Experience with alternative development languages such as C#, Java, Python.
Experience working with AWS or Azure cloud environments
Git (Bitbucket) experience
Log / monitoring tools, such as Sumo Logic
