PLC Programmer / Automation Software Engineer Portsmouth, Hampshire Permanent - £50k + Bonus
Are you a Software Engineer with experience of writing Ladder Logic for PLCs and interested in working at an innovative manufacturing company in Portsmouth? If so, read on
Youll be a key member of a highly skilled team of experts who design and develop machinery used in manufacturing. Youll play a pivotal role in the continuous improvement of robotic manufacturing for the Companys production processes.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
PLC programming (Mitsubishi iQ-R)
Robot Programming (Mitsubishi R-series)
Programming of Keyence vision equipment (XG-X and CV-X)
Programming of other key equipment e.g. Servo, RFID, Inverter
Improving existing software to increase reliability and throughput
Qualifications, Skills and Experience: Experience of Ladder Logic, Structured Text and/or Function blocks
The company uses Mitsubishi iQ-R PLCs, Mitsubishi robots, and Keyence vision equipment. Training on these systems will be provided for those who are not already familiar with them.
Salary and Benefits:
Salary up to £50,000 per annum
25 days holiday plus bank/public hols
Additional 3 days off over the festive period

8am-4:30pm mon-thurs and 8am-3:30pm fri
