Software Engineer - C#, .NET, Python, SQL, Azure

We are currently working with a company embarking on an exciting digital transformation project. They are looking for a Software Engineer to join their IT team, where you'll be helping to shape the future of the business through technology.

This role offers the chance to be part of major technological advancements, from large-scale transformation projects to fast-paced, quick-win innovations. Working alongside a small, collaborative team, your expertise will play a key part in the company's cloud migration and data-driven, agile development approach.

What you'll be doing:

  • Contribute to the design, development, testing, and support of systems using modern technologies within an agile environment.
  • Build your knowledge of the company's existing and future software products, becoming a subject matter expert.
  • Take responsibility for completing work packages on time and within budget.
  • Collaborate across teams, acting as a key IT expert for cross-functional projects.
  • Assist in the setup and design of CI/CD pipelines to improve the software development process.
  • Proactively integrate evolving technologies to ensure the company remains at the forefront of innovation.

What they are looking for:

  • Proficiency in C#, .NET, Visual Studio, Python, GitHub, and related tools.
  • Experience in cloud-based integration solutions and familiarity with DevOps pipelines.
  • Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, JSON, XML, SOAP, and other web service protocols.
  • Experience with GitHub or similar version control systems.
  • A problem-solving mindset and the ability to tackle technical challenges with creativity.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members, stakeholders, and product owners.

Nice-to-have:

  • A degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience with ERP (IFS) and GIS (ESRI) integration.
  • Knowledge of SQL and Oracle databases.
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure and its integration solutions.
