An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Software Engineer to join our client on a permanent basis.
At the core of our client's tech stack is Vue.js (front end), .NET (backend), and MS SQL Server.
Our client is collaborative, fast paced and focuses on simplicity and scalability; following Kanban, not Scrum-utilizing a fluid approach that minimizes bureaucracy so you can focus on what really matters: delivering high-quality software! You'll also get exposure to AWS cloud services, and opportunities to contribute to architecture, best practices, and DevOps.
What you'll be working on:
- A brand new tech start-up development within the group, delivering AI enriched solutions to customers.
- An established, interconnected digital ecosystem that delivers a full suite of support to customers; you'll be designing and developing solutions to improve customer engagement and experience.
- An in-house product platform that is going to be completely rebuilt in 2025.
- Business optimization projects aiming to integrate internal systems and solutions.
What we're looking for:
- Understand software engineering principles including design, implementation, quality assurance, and maintenance.
- Experience in building, testing, deploying, maintaining, and improving software.
- Ability to work closely with stakeholders to analyse requirements and propose solutions.
- Comfortable working in a global environment.
- Self-starter who thrives with minimal direction
- Experience working in Agile (preferably Kanban)
Tech Skills:
- JavaScript / HTML / CSS (Vue.js experience preferred)
- Microsoft .NET C#
- MS SQL Server / T-SQL
- CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions)
- Docker
- Design Patterns, OOP, SOLID, and Clean Code
- Experience with automated testing / front-end testing
Salary & Benefits:
- Salary will be up to £60,000 depending on experience.
