Job Advert: Full-Time Cover Supervisor - Portsmouth (ASAP Start)

Are you a confident, adaptable individual with a passion for education? We are seeking a full-time Cover Supervisor to join a vibrant secondary school in Portsmouth. Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise whole classes during the short-term absence of teachers, ensuring that students remain engaged and on task.
• Deliver pre-prepared lesson plans across a variety of subjects.
• Manage classroom behavior effectively, fostering a positive and productive learning atmosphere.
• Support students with their learning as needed and address any queries.
• Collaborate with teaching staff and contribute to the smooth running of the school.

• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Confidence in managing groups of students and maintaining classroom control.
• A flexible and proactive approach to work.
• Previous experience in a school environment or working with young people is desirable but not essential.
