Team Teach Trained Teaching Assistant's needed - January Start

SEN School & Alternative Provision in Portsmouth!

Academics are seeking experienced Team Teach Trained Teaching Assistant's to join a Special School and Alternative Provision in Portsmouth which caters for young people across KS3 - KS4, who have a range of social, emotional and mental health needs (SEMH) developmental needs and / or medical needs

They are looking for strong, empathetic Teaching Assistant's who are available to join their team from January 2025 on full-time, on-going contracts. There is the opportunity there for a permanent contract if this is of interest to you.

Due to the nature of the setting, they are looking for Teaching Assistant's who are Team Teach trained or equivalent such as PRICE. As you are working with young people with challenging behaviours, having completed such training, or having a willingness to carry out the training is essential.

You will be required to support pupils on a 1;1 and small group basis. This Teaching Assistant role would be suited to someone with experience of working with children with challenging behaviours in an SEN/SEMH school.
