Job Description: 

We are seeking a diligent, committed Learning Support Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will work closely with teachers to support students with their learning and development. This role involves working one to one with children with SEN, supporting them in academic and social life, helping to give them the best possible start to life!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-on-one and/or small group support to students.
  • Assist with classroom activities and lesson preparation.
  • Support students with special educational needs.
  • Help maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Monitor and report on student progress.
  • Collaborate with teachers and other staff members.
  • Ensure a safe learning environment for children

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a similar role is required.
  • A genuine passion for working with children.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Relevant qualifications or training in education or childcare.
