This role is perfect for someone who is passionate about supporting students with special educational needs (SEN) and making a real difference in their lives. Responsibilities:

As a SEN Learning Support, you will:

· Assist students with special educational needs, providing tailored support to meet individual needs.

· Implement Educational Healthcare Plans (EHCPs) to address individual student needs effectively.

· Assist with behavioural management strategies to promote positive conduct and a supportive learning atmosphere.

· Foster an inclusive environment that encourages participation and engagement from all students.

· Collaborate closely with teachers and other staff members to ensure seamless support for students with special educational needs.

· Monitor and document student progress, sharing insights with the educational team to facilitate ongoing improvement.

Requirements:

To be successful as a SEN Learning Support, you should have:

· Previous experience working with SEN students or relevant training in special education is preferred.

· A degree in Psychology, Education, or a related field.

· A compassionate and patient approach, with a genuine passion for helping students overcome learning barriers.

· Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with students and collaborate with colleagues.

· Flexibility and adaptability to respond to the diverse needs of students in a dynamic classroom setting.

· Patience, empathy, and a passion for supporting all students.

· Understanding of various SEN conditions.

· Have an updated CV and an enhanced DBS registered to the update service (or be willing to apply for one).
