Experienced SEN Teacher needed - Secondary SEN School in Portsmouth - ASAP start!!Academics are recruiting on behalf of an 'Outstanding' Secondary SEN School in the Cosham area of Portsmouth who have an urgent need for four experienced SEN Teacher who is available to start ASAP!This is a full-time, term-time position - working hours are 8.30am - 3.30pm.

The school caters for approximately 165 pupils aged 11-16 years who have complex learning difficulties. In addition to their learning difficulties, some pupils have other needs associated with autistic spectrum condition, speech, language and communication difficulties and medical conditions. Due to the needs of the pupils, this is ideal for someone with previous SEN experience, or a willingness to work with children with special educational needs.

This contract is to start ASAP, full-time, term-time, ongoing. If you get on well, there is always the opportunity of a permanent position.

You will be required to teach across KS3 and KS4. The class sizes are small so you are able to tailor lessons to meet their individual learning needs. Due to their needs, they are taught a primary module so this would be suited to both primary and secondary trained teachers.
