About the SEN Teacher Role:

The successful SEN Teacher will:

  • Plan and deliver highly differentiated and engaging lessons tailored to the needs of autistic pupils and those with SEMH.

  • Be responsible for the full professional responsibilities of a class teacher, including planning, assessment, and resource creation.

  • Teach a mixed KS3 class, following a semi-formal curriculum designed to nurture academic, social, and life skills.

  • Work collaboratively with a team of experienced TAs who are dedicated to supporting pupils' learning and well-being.

  • Foster a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment that encourages student progress and independence.
