We are looking for a reliable General Labourer to join our team at HMNB Portsmouth. This hands-on role requires towing confidence, physical fitness, and a strong focus on health and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
- General labouring duties, including lifting, shifting, and warehouse tasks.
- Towing (Category B&E licence required).
- Basic IT use for record-keeping and communications.
- Supporting the Warehouse Supervisor and working independently.
- Adhering to health and safety protocols.
Requirements:
- Full clean driving licence (Category B&E for towing).
- Physically fit and comfortable with manual tasks.
- IT-literate with strong English and Maths skills.
- Clear DBS, 3 years of consistent employment references, 5 years UK address history, and valid photo ID.
- Eligibility for BPSS and SC clearance.
- Flexible for overtime and weekend shifts.
Role Details:
- Hours: Monday to Friday, 07:30-16:00 (overtime and weekends as needed).
- Pay Rate: £13.00 per hour (enhanced overtime/weekend rates).
- Induction & PPE: Provided to successful candidates.
