Salary: £25,000 - £30,000/annum

Location: Portsmouth

Hours: 39 Hours/week

We are recruiting for a Detail/Surface Grinder to undertake grinding works to support both manufacturing and project work.

Role:

Part of a small fast paced team supporting both manufacturing and project work.

Varied form and plate grinding work using Jones & Shipman 540x surface grinders and a Jones & Shipman CNC grinder.

Use of opti-dress and camera systems for creating forms on grinding wheels.

Must have abrasive wheel awareness qualification.

Quality check finished products

Record and report any issues

Requirements:

Previous experience working within a similar role

Engineering degree or equivalent qualification

Must have abrasive wheel awareness qualification

Previous experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
