My client is currently seeking a passionate and skilled Transport Planner to join our dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real impact on infrastructure and urban development projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement transport planning strategies to optimize the movement of people and goods.
- Conduct detailed traffic and transportation analysis, including data collection, modeling, and forecasting.
- Work closely with local authorities, developers, and stakeholders to ensure transportation solutions meet community and business needs.
- Assist in the preparation of transport assessments and reports for planning applications and development projects.
- Evaluate and advise on public transport, road networks, and other transportation infrastructure.
- Monitor and assess the performance of transportation systems and recommend improvements where necessary.
- Contribute to sustainable transportation initiatives, promoting green and efficient transport options.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Transport Planning, Civil Engineering, Geography, or a related field.
- Proven experience in transport planning or a similar role (X+ years).
- Proficiency in transport modeling software (e.g., [specific software, if applicable]).
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Knowledge of local, national, and international transportation policies and regulations.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
