Our client, one of the UK’s leading, independent cruise & travel specialists, are looking for experienced Operations Assistants to join their busy travel team. This is an amazing opportunity which is fully homebased and offers a Monday - Friday working week, 8.30am - 5pm / 9.30am - 6pm, on a rota basis.
If you have a strong understanding of the travel industry (in particular flights and tailor-made elements) and enjoy helping customers create their individual dream cruise holiday, we’d love to hear from you!
In return, our client can offer a starting salary of £26k, rising to £28k following probabtion, excellent benefits including fam trips, a day off on your birthday and private medical health care.

Role of Travel Operations Assistant:
- Booking flights, hotels, transfers and tours for existing cruise bookings
- Speaking with customers ensuring the most suitable travel arrangements are made
- Working closely with the sales team
- Delivering high levels of customer service
- Offering expert advice and personal recommendations
Skills required for the role:
- Previous travel industry operations experience - essential
- Experience with tailor-making cruise packages would be an advantage
- Flights knowledge and experience of working with consolidators
- Confident and pro-active telephone manner
- Strong attention to detail
- Previous homeworking experience
