About the Role
- Position: Maintenance Technician
- Type: Full-Time
- Schedule:
- Monday to Thursday: 08:00 - 16:45
- Friday: 08:00 - 12:00 (early finish!)
- Pay Rate: 18-25 per hour, based on experience
What We're Looking For
The ideal candidate will bring:
- Experience: At least 2 years in a technician role within a manufacturing industry.
- Skills:
- Proficiency with semi-automated machines using PLC, electrical, and pneumatic controls.
- Ability to fault-find, repair, and prevent issues through planned maintenance.
- Knowledge: Strong understanding of engineering principles and practical applications.
- Mindset: A can-do attitude and enthusiasm to jump straight into the role.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and optimize production equipment to meet targets.
- Develop and document technical procedures, including TPM schedules.
- Manage and perform tasks under the Planned Maintenance system.
- Calibrate production equipment and service gas regulators.
- Ensure adequate spare parts are available for quick responses to component failures.
