The successful candidate must have previous supervisory experience within a steel, metal and fabrication environment.
Please note this is a hands-on managerial position. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing staff but also completing works and projects when required.
Duties of the role -
ensuring welder fabricators are working efficiently to the correct standard and compliant with H&S requirements
reading drawings
quality inspection
experience in welding and fabrication
co-ordinating jobs
producing maximum profitability
overseeing safe use of machinery, equipment and tools
This role would suit a problem-solving individual with excellent delegation skills. This individual would be the point of contact between the office and workshop so excellent communication skills required.
Permanent position - Full time. 7am - 3.30pm but must be flexible to suit the business needs.
