Your New Role

As a Welding Instructor, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality training to young learners, apprentices, and corporate clients. Your duties will include:

  • Teaching and mentoring individuals in practical welding skills.

  • Developing and preparing appropriate schemes of work and lesson plans.

  • Planning, preparing, and conducting assessments of competence against awarding body standards.

  • Ensuring all relevant training and assessment documentation is completed accurately and on time.

  • Providing advice, guidance, and support to corporate clients.

  • Ensuring immediate reporting of accidents and adherence to health and safety regulations.

Skills and Qualifications Required:
  • Level 3 Engineering Qualification

  • Extensive welding experience gained in industry

  • Level 2 literacy and numeracy

  • Strong communication and presentation skills

  • Full driving licence and access to own vehicle (highly desirable)

  • NVQ/QCF Assessor qualification or teaching qualification (desirable)
