Management Accountant
Salary: 40,000 - 42,000 per annum (depending on experience)
Location: Potters Bar (with plans to relocate to West London in the coming months)

Are you an experienced Management Accountant looking for a role where you can strike a great balance between work and life? In this role, you'll work closely with the senior leadership team, providing accurate and insightful financial analyses to support the business. It's a rewarding role, but it doesn't demand endless progression or the pressure of climbing the corporate ladder - just a steady, fulfilling position where your efforts are truly appreciated.

What you'll be doing:
* Preparing monthly P&L statements, gross profit analysis, and balance sheets.
* Producing weekly cashflow and flash P&L reports.
* Managing cashflow and overseeing cash management.
* Partnering with operational and practice managers to review costs and suggest savings.
* Calculating associate fees.
* Completing balance sheet reconciliations and resolving queries.
* Providing ad hoc financial analysis as required by the leadership team.
* Preparing audit information and liaising with external auditors.
* Supporting the purchase ledger process, including invoice approvals and payment runs.
* Reviewing payroll preparation in collaboration with the payroll bureau and practice managers.

What we're looking for:
* Part-qualified or QBE (qualified by experience) with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
* Confident and proactive, with the ability to work closely with senior team members and challenge where needed.
* Solid knowledge of management accounts, cashflow reporting, and balance sheet reconciliations.
* Sage experience is a bonus, but strong Excel skills are essential.
* A collaborative mindset and a willingness to roll up your sleeves.
