It's a rewarding role, but it doesn't demand endless progression or the pressure of climbing the corporate ladder - just a steady, fulfilling position where your efforts are truly appreciated.What you'll be doing:* Preparing monthly P&L statements, gross profit analysis, and balance sheets.* Producing weekly cashflow and flash P&L reports.* Managing cashflow and overseeing cash management.* Partnering with operational and practice managers to review costs and suggest savings.* Calculating associate fees.* Completing balance sheet reconciliations and resolving queries.* Providing ad hoc financial analysis as required by the leadership team.* Preparing audit information and liaising with external auditors.* Supporting the purchase ledger process, including invoice approvals and payment runs.* Reviewing payroll preparation in collaboration with the payroll bureau and practice managers.What we're looking for:* Part-qualified or QBE (qualified by experience) with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.* Confident and proactive, with the ability to work closely with senior team members and challenge where needed.* Solid knowledge of management accounts, cashflow reporting, and balance sheet reconciliations.* Sage experience is a bonus, but strong Excel skills are essential.* A collaborative mindset and a willingness to roll up your sleeves.What's on offer:* Salary of £40,000 - £42,000 (dependent on experience).* Hybrid working arrangements.* 25 days holiday.* On-site parking and a company pension.* The chance to join a growing organisation where your input will genuinely make a difference.This is an ideal role for someone who values balance - where your day ends when you leave the office.
