We are seeking a professional and proactive Management Accountant (MA) to join a dynamic Group Management Accounts Team. The role sits within a fast-paced, high-growth organisation who are looking at a centralisation process. This role will be integral to a project aimed at integrating a newly acquired business into the group’s accounting systems and processes.The successful candidate will gain broad experience, take on meaningful responsibilities, and interact with senior management, making this an excellent opportunity for career growth.Key ResponsibilitiesProject Integration
  • Collaborate with the Finance Manager and Systems Team to migrate accounts onto the group's finance system.
  • Create detailed process documentation and identify opportunities to enhance management accounting and payment calculation processes.
  • Work with payroll and sales ledger teams to standardise processes and bring them in-house.
Ongoing Responsibilities
  • Prepare accurate and timely monthly management accounts.
  • Deliver insightful commentary on financial performance to senior stakeholders.
  • Develop monthly cashflows, annual budgets, and forecasts.
  • Line manage a part-time Finance Assistant.
  • Reconcile balance sheet accounts and ensure financial accuracy.
  • Collaborate with operational finance teams to streamline processes.
What We’re Looking ForEssential Skills and Experience:
  • Part-qualified (ACA/ACCA/CIMA).
  • Proficient in Excel (Intermediate) and strong overall system skills.
  • Experience with systems migration and data management.
  • Highly organized, with the ability to manage priorities and meet tight deadlines.
  • A self-starter with excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to use initiative.
  • A team player who is adaptable and willing to go above and beyond.
  • Strong analytical skills with exceptional attention to detail.
