Intrepid Global are seeking reliable and skilled Bus Drivers to join our team working in Potters Bar. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to safety and customer service, ensuring that passengers are transported efficiently and comfortably. This role requires excellent communication skills, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to maintain a positive attitude while driving.
Duties
- Safely operate a bus, ensuring the safe transport of passengers to their destinations.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.
- Maintain accurate records of trips, including passenger counts and any incidents that occur during transit.
- Communicate effectively with passengers, providing information about routes and schedules.
- Assist passengers with boarding and alighting from the bus, particularly those with disabilities or special needs.
- Follow all traffic laws and regulations while driving, prioritising safety at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid commercial driving licence PCV And CPC.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends as required.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
- Ability to maintain composure in stressful situations while providing exceptional customer service.
- A clean driving record with no major violations is preferred. (no more than 6points)
- must have transportation or be local to the surrounding areas of potters bar.
PAYE Only - No LTD drivers
Weekly Pay
20 per hour, slight pay rise after 3 months of consistent work.
