The Building Surveyor's Role
As a Building Surveyor, you will take on a variety of professional services, with a particular focus on party wall matters. You'll work across a diverse range of properties, including residential, commercial, and heritage buildings, offering you an exciting and varied workload.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing a full range of general practice building surveying services.
- Delivering party wall services for a variety of projects and clients.
- Cultivating and maintaining client and stakeholder relationships to ensure successful project outcomes.
- Offering expert advice and ensuring compliance with statutory requirements.
The Ideal Building Surveyor Will Have
- MRICS qualification (preferred but not essential).
- A RICS-accredited degree in Building Surveying.
- Extensive party wall experience (essential).
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in a consultancy environment.
- Strong communication and client relationship management skills.
- A proactive and collaborative approach to project delivery.

- Salary: £55,000 - £65,000 (depending on experience).
