Role Description
To assist in the management in the health, safety, quality and environmental matters within JSM Group through the provision of professional advice and solutions, ensuring compliance with legislation and best practice. The role will involve occasional weekend and/or night work.
Principal Duties and Accountabilities
To aid in the development and implementation of Health and Safety best practice, ensuring the Company complies with current health and safety legislation, approved codes of practice and guidance in relation to employment and service provision. To work proactively with all levels of management, so to establish and maintain a safe system of work and a safe environment for colleagues and clients.
Skills and Experience Required:
- NEBOSH/NCRQ Level 6 (NVQ Level 5 as a minimum standard)
- EUSR or CSCS in a related subject
- NRSWA (SWQR)
- Working knowledge of HSG47
- Power/Fibre/Water/Gas experience
- Proficient in Accident/Incident investigation & RCA
- Proficient in data analysis & compiling Reports
- 5 years in a construction / utility related similar role
- Competent in core standard Microsoft Software
