Telecoms Account Manager – Potters Bar  Position: Account Manager (Telecoms focused)Location: Potters Bar, Hertfordshire, United KingdomSalary: £35,000 base salary + uncapped commission (£50,000 OTE)  A long-standing National IT Service Provider in Herts is currently expanding and on the lookout for an experienced Telecoms focused Account Manager to join their team. You will be at the forefront of the company’s customer retention plans, aiming to keep existing clients using their telecoms services and upselling new products and services where possible.  There is an uncapped commission structure in place which allows huge earning potential for this level of role.  They are looking for somebody with a track record of managing and retaining existing accounts in the telecoms space (VOIP, Broadband, Mobile etc.)  It is an exciting opportunity for a confident individual to join a company providing lots of training and support, and career development in the areas of Sales, Account Management, and IT. There will be an element of travel to customer sites, the majority being based locally in/around London and Herts, yet this will not be extensive.Key Duties
  • Undertake regular check ins with existing customers to ensure satisfaction levels remain high
  • Upsell new telecoms products and services to existing customers
  • Manage inbound calls from existing clients, attending to non-IT support related needs
  • Manage territory of existing clients in answering any queries or dissatisfaction
  • Support ad-hoc sales initiatives.
  Key Skills
  • Proven track record of success in account management
  • Background in managing customers using telecoms products/services
  • Experience owning the post-sales customers’ journey, including adoption and implementation to upsell
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly and concisely to various audiences, including executives
  • Understanding of Telecoms/Networking (VOIP, Broadband, Ethernet, Mobile etc.)
