We're seeking an enthusiastic and committed teacher who can bring creativity and energy to the classroom. This position offers a fantastic chance to work in a supportive environment with a well-structured curriculum in place.
Key Details:
- Role: Primary Teacher (Music & Drama Specialist)
- Year Groups: Reception to Year 6
- Working Days & Hours: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday (08:00-16:00)
- Start Date: 22nd February 2025
- Form Tutor Duties: None required
- Location: Potters Bar
What You'll Be Doing:
- Delivering engaging Music and Drama lessons, inspiring creativity and confidence in pupils.
- Teaching a Music Theory Club on Monday mornings (08:00-08:40) with a focus on approximately Grade 1 content.
- Participating in key school duties, including break, lunch, and drop-off responsibilities.
- Attending staff meetings on Monday afternoons (16:00-17:00).
- Writing detailed, end-of-term reports for pupils taught during the Spring Term.
What We're Looking For:
- A qualified Primary Teacher with a passion for teaching Music and Drama.
- Confidence to deliver lessons, with plans and resources provided. If you feel less secure with Music, the school follows the 'Music Express' scheme of work to support teaching.
- Flexibility to cover additional lessons if required (minimal).
- Able to commute to Potters Bar.
