As a Band 5 Community Nurse, you will undertake a variety of tasks to support patient health and wellbeing.

What you will do:

  • Administer subcutaneous and intramuscular medications, including insulin, Vitamin B12, and anticoagulants.
  • Handle wound management, addressing leg ulcers and pressure ulcers with expert care.
  • Provide catheter care to ensure patient comfort and health.
  • Deliver high-quality nursing care across the community, adapting seamlessly to diverse environments.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive care plans.
  • Educate patients and their families on health maintenance and disease prevention, fostering community well-being.

Key competencies include experience in subcut and intramuscular medication administration, wound management, and catheter care. It's essential that candidates have prior experience as a community Band 5 nurse and hold relevant skills. Must be NMC registered. Having a car is essential to fulfill community visits efficiently.
