Are you looking for an exciting new opportunity within an established company? My client are one of the UK’s leading providers Contractor solutions and services. Due to the rapid growth of the company, they are seeking a Compliance Officer to join our team working alongside Payroll.

Responsibilities

  • Introducing all new sub-contractors - make sure all new sub-contractors are contacted within our set time-scales
  • Sending out registration packs by email/direct from the system
  • Chasing missing documents
  • Reconciling registration documents
  • Checking Right to Work documents, conducting BRP and ECS checks etc.
  • Chasing missing documents on a daily basis
  • Approving registration documents for import and conducting compliance checks
  • Working closely with Payroll to ensure a smooth transition from worker registration through to payment

Compliance & Due Diligence

  • Checking post inbox & distributing to the team
  • Learning then continuously expanding knowledge of HMRC & CIS legislation
  • Frequent internal audits (not limited to) - Settled Status & VAT & UTR checks due diligence - Clients & Sub Contractors
  • Ensuring all clients have the correct documents on file and are set up on the system correctly
  • Conducted regular audits and spot checks across clients and workers

Experience

The right candidate needs to be proactive, ambitious, willing to learn with an eye for detail and be a team player. Must be able to work to tight deadlines and a 'cando’ attitude. Must be able to drive or commute locally due to location of the office.

Salary & benefits

  • Basic salary up to £28,000 dependant on experience
