Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, deliver, and assess engaging lessons tailored to meet the needs of Year 2 pupils
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports pupil progress and well-being
- Collaborate with the parallel Year 2 teacher and wider school team to ensure consistent teaching practices
- Maintain accurate records of pupil progress and contribute to school-wide assessments
- Build strong relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience teaching in Key Stage 1, preferably Year 2
- A valid DBS on the Update Service
- Strong classroom management skills and the ability to adapt teaching to individual learning needs
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
