TEXO Recruitmentis seeking aStoreman/Driverfor a permanent position in Potterton, Aberdeen, on behalf of our external client.

Role Overview:

As a Storeman/Driver, you will be responsible for accurately picking, compiling, and packing orders, ensuring all relevant documentation is enclosed. You will also handle the safe and secure delivery of goods, ensuring timely and satisfactory service to customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Verify the accuracy of orders and resolve any discrepancies before dispatch.
  • Pack orders securely to prevent damage during transit.
  • Maintain accurate records and adhere to QA and safety procedures.
  • Keep working areas clean and compliant with health, hygiene, and safety regulations.
  • Perform warehouse tasks and assist with stocktaking and goods inwards as needed.
  • Maintain and care for company equipment, including forklifts and pallet trucks.
  • Safely store stock items and manage efficient dispatch.
  • Handle oil spill containment and adhere to waste reduction and recycling policies.
  • Load and maintain delivery vehicles, ensuring their cleanliness and proper maintenance.
  • Liaise with customers during deliveries and handle goods returns and collections efficiently.

Skills, Experience & Qualifications:

  • Experience in a warehouse environment.
  • QHSE Training and MSDS/Dangerous Goods training.
  • Knowledge of stock products.
  • Clean Driving Licence and Forklift Driving Certificate.
  • 7.5T Licence and CPC Training.
