Administration Support Officer

Salary: £12.00 - £15.00 (DoE) per hour PAYE
We are seeking 2 x Administration Support Officer offering work in the public sector. This role is crucial for providing comprehensive office and administrative support, to help give administration support across various departments.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Undertake general office and administration tasks including answering phones, taking messages, responding to emails, sending letters, scheduling appointments, organising files, and managing printing, photocopying, and postage.
- Perform data entry into spreadsheets, along with issuing letters and supporting literature to customers.
- Liaise with customers and partner organisations regarding services.
- Collaborate with internal colleagues and directors.
- Respond promptly to customer enquiries and requests for services. Undertake additional duties as required by the Waste, Recycling, and Environmental Enforcement Manager.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in administrative roles.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- Proficiency in using office software including spreadsheets, email, and database systems.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and empathy.
- Experience in customer service, demonstrating the ability to manage enquiries effectively.
Salary, Hours & Benefits
- Weekly Pay £12.00 - £15.00 (DoE) per hour PAYE
- Full Time Monday to Friday 9am-5pm
- 3 months with a view to possible extension
- Office Based –Poulton le Fylde (FY6)
